Simon Preston

Associate Director

As an Associate Director, Simon focuses on working with new and existing clients on operational strategy and transformation service projects, as well as contributing to the development and implementation of the ATLAS data platform.

Simon has 20+ years of Private Markets industry experience covering IT, Operations, Fund Accounting, and Administration, all with a particular focus on technology.

Prior to joining Holland Mountain, he founded Ally Partners in 2019 to support HQ Capital and later served as Head of IT/Digitalisation at Target Global. Earlier roles include leading the Finance/IT team at Triton Partners and ten years at State Street, formerly Mourant, with time spent in New York and Luxembourg.

Simon has deep experience working with operational systems including eFront, Investran, WSO, Anaplan, and Workiva, as well as a number of other complementary systems used in the alternative assets industry.

Simon graduated from Newcastle University and is based in Jersey.
