Clearwater Analytics announced the completion of its take-private acquisition by a Permira and Warburg Pincus-led investor group, supported by Francisco Partners with participation from Temasek. Shareholders received $24.55 per share, and CWAN will delist from the NYSE. The company cites the move as enabling accelerated investment in its AI roadmap and next-generation platform.

Blueflame / Datasite released new research on the state of AI adoption in M&A, based on a survey of 1,000 senior dealmakers across 27 countries. Key findings: 62% of dealmakers say human-only decision-making is no longer defensible; 71% believe firms that ignore AI today will struggle to compete within five years; 50% have AI regularly embedded in due diligence, accuracy and security rank as the two most important requirements for AI in dealmaking.
