A busy week for the sector, with several acquisitions and funding rounds announced alongside a steady stream of new AI-powered products and features. All the news this week, curated below.

NEW & UPDATED PRODUCTS

Carta has made its Investors, Cap Table and CRM plugins for Claude available to every Carta customer. The plugins bring equity and private capital data directly into the assistant, allowing teams to check deal positions and metrics such as NAV and TVPI without rebuilding reports.

Juniper Square has launched Fay, an Admin Oversight Agent that runs more than 150 accuracy and consistency checks across statements, PCAPs and workbooks in an uploaded close pack. Errors are surfaced in minutes and linked back to source assets, with review time reported down by around 80%.

Emblem has launched a PowerPoint add-in that generates decks from a firm’s own templates and links every slide back to its source. In a demonstration using a 235-file data room, the add-in produced an 80-slide deck in 35 minutes against a typical budget of around 100 hours.

AngelList has introduced Link, an MCP server that lets GPs query fund data directly from Claude, ChatGPT or other AI tools. It covers capital call status, LP holdings across vehicles, valuation updates and daily financials from a single verified source.

Decusoft has announced Compose Performance Management, a new module built natively into Compose. Goals, check-ins and reviews now sit on the same platform as compensation planning, removing the export and reconciliation step between HR and finance systems.

Sevanta has launched Raven, an integrated AI assistant that answers questions and runs analysis on dealflow data, and can connect to other tools and platforms to carry out actions across them.

DEAL ACTIVITY

LemonEdge has raised $21m in Series A funding led by Blackstone, with BNY joining the round and continued support from Sidekick Partners. The platform consolidates fund accounting, operations, data, workflows and reporting into a single system of record for private markets firms.

TA Associates has made a strategic growth investment in Oxane Partners, whose Platform x People model supports more than $1.4trn in client AUM across 100+ clients globally. The investment will fund technology and AI development and further international expansion across Private Credit+.

PARTNERSHIPS & INTEGRATIONS

Ontra has announced a partnership with Intapp, linking relationship intelligence in Intapp DealCloud with Ontra’s NDA negotiation workflows. The aim is to connect the technology behind deal origination and early-stage agreements rather than running them in silos.
